![]() The ability to have more delay on the mains compared to the sub is handy if ![]() If your Oppo has the ability to delay your main speakers more than your sub then you may find you can get a good result, especially if the sub has some parametric EQ available that you could adjust based on REW measurements. That way you can measure your main speakers and the sub, individually and together to see how they sum in your room at various listening positions. You may be able to use the mic that came with the sub if you can interface it with a laptop and REW, and bodgy up a mic stand. IMHO to achieve good speaker/sub integration you need a measurement rig (mic, mic stand, mic lead, laptop and software like REW). If you set the sub low pass at say 80Hz and the Oppo crossover at 80Hz, the 2 low pass filters will add so the high pass on the speakers won't be symmetrical with the low pass on the sub. ![]() That way you could just use the Xover in the Oppo. Can the sub be set up without a low pass filter? ie full range? or very high like 500Hz ![]()
